The Waits family is getting ready for their holiday to the village of Nilbog. But the youngest member of the family is being haunted by his dead grandfather, who warns him against going there because Nilbog is populated by vegetarian goblins.
This is basically the whole plot for this dubious classic, often referred to as "the king of cult movies", directed by the italian auteur Claudio Fragasso. The film is based on an idea conceived by his wife, as a reaction to the fact that so many of her friends were turning to vegetarianism. They also wrote the English script, even though they had rather limited skills, and it shows in the hilarious dialogue. Most of the actors cast in the lead roles showed up at the auditionin order to get roles of extras, so when their acting talents are added to the mix, we are in for get a unique cinematic experience!
